Guys looking for an easy, yet chic look for the holidays, may look no further. This season's casual-luxe trend is the perfect combination of old-world charm meets modern appeal.

These pieces are comfortably on trend and versatile enough to be dressed up or down, making you look dapper for the holiday season, while still giving you millage well into the new year.

The desert style boot is perfect for now or the coming months of spring, while a white shirt and great jeans are both wardrobe staples that will work anytime of year. The classically modern, velvet blazer is a great investment for now and the winter seasons ahead.

Sequins have become a mainstream staple for evening wear. In fact, they have even trickled into daywear. Needless to say, the holiday season is still the perfect time for this glitzy wardrobe 'must have' to shine!

Whether you choose a skirt, tank, sweater or dress, the key is to let it be the 'wow' factor; keeping everything else simple. I suggest going with a streamlined piece like the shift style dress above. The three-quartar length sleeves add just the right amount of class, while the dress length and sequins ooze mega sass.

The brown suede booties and matching nail lacquer are neutral enough not to steal the show; adding warmth to soften the look, while remaining on-trend with this season's hottest accessories. The streamlined envelope clutch accentuates with the dress perfectly and the elegantly abstract cocktail ring harmonizes with the dress's print.

Hair is kept long, soft and playful, however, I could also see long straight locks or a shoulder length bob with a blunt bang working well with this look. A sleek ponytail could also look equally stunning.

Make-up, like the accessories, should keep the same 'simple and polished' rule in order to not compete with the dress.  Subtle and neutral does the trick; making a smokey eye and pale lip the perfect choice for this ensemble's theme.

Fashion: Snow White

Fashion: Snow White

Fashion: Snow White by rebeccacleary featuring stud earrings

This elegant ensemble is the perfect, on-trend, holiday party attire for women with high contrast and cool undertones in their colouring.  They would wear this striking colour combination exquisitely. When an ensemble's colours are in harmony with an individual's colouring, it creates an effortlessly confident and flattering look that translates well.

A person with medium to low contrast in their colouring would need to tone the level of contrast down to better harmonize with their skin tone, hair and eye colour. When an ensemble's colours are overpowering on an individual, it creates distraction and confusion in their over-all look. This affects their visual persona and over-all impression in a negative way.

Lifestyle: Buy a Christmas Gift & Help Feed a Hungry Child

Trying to find a unique and meaningful gift  for someone you love at Christmas can be fun and stressful - especially when you're searching for something for the person that has everything. Why not buy them a one-of-a-kind piece of art from Eat Art?

Eat Art is an organization of artists that are committed to utilizing their skills and talents to "artfully" end hunger. Choose from an eclectic collection of works from photographers, painters and designers.  It's a win for everyone - you can give the gift of a unique one-of-a-kind piece of art and also make an investment to help end hunger. A $20 purchase will feed a hungry child for a month.

Check out one of my favourite paintings below called, "Red Wine," by Hannah Joiner. Hannah's Hope is that people will find art that can help them create, share, remember and experience life in a new way.

Give a unique gift that will pay forward this year. For more information check out: WWW.EAT-ART.ORG
